A Notary Public is a state-licensed legal witness to the signing of a document. A Notary Public acknowledges the signing of a document with his or her own signature and notary seal. BOPTI Federal Credit Union offers notary services during regular hours of operation. To have a document notarized, members must present a valid photo ID and sign the document in the presence of the notary.
